Amrap
distributes ‘radio ready’ CDs of new releases by Australian signed and
independent artists to community radio stations nationwide.
Amrap’s Monthly Mailout delivers Australian music to radio stations and broadcasters who are likely to play it. Amrap’s service is targeted and cost effective, removing some of the guess-work from your promotions to community radio stations. Mailout’s fill quickly so aim to book ahead. Amrap can distribute releases containing covers however higher priority is given to releases containing 100% original Australian compositions.
Amrap services the majority of the community stations around Australia. By using information given to us by the artist, we match the release to the appropriate stations, broadcasters and shows. For example, a heavy metal release will not go to a station that plays mostly classical music. We can’t guarantee the release will be aired but we can get it in to the right hands. Artists who use the mailout service will receive a list (with full contact details) of stations that received their release.
Amrap receives feedback from stations regarding specific releases we have serviced. Any feedback relevant to a particular artist's release will be forwarded to the artist in a 'Feedback Report' one month after servicing. Often times a follow up feedback report will be sent three months after the servicing date, containing any extra feedback received.
Please Note: Amrap is no longer distributing albums / EP’s / singles with a release date that falls 12 months from the date the artist lodges the CD with Amrap (from Request For Cd Mailout form submission date).
Music released before this date generally isn’t considered to be contemporary for the purposes of Amrap’s mailout service unless the release is being re-distributed at the time of an extensive national tour, music award or award nomination. Redistribution is considered by Amrap upon its relevance to community radio at that time.

Submit this Request for Mailout Service form. When you’ve submitted the form you will be directed to our postal address and given a Submission Code.

Write the Submission Code clearly on the front of your CD and post it to the address supplied on the request form. We will not preview your music via your webpage or in a digital format. You must send music to us in CD format, in the packaging that you want distributed to stations.
Step 4
Amrap will preview your CD in reference to your request form. Based on the amount of appropriate stations we believe would match your music, we will advise the maximum number of CDs we could distribute on your behalf and send you a quote by email. You can provide as many CDs as you would like distributed up to the maximum number we advised in the quote.

The emailed quote contains a booking form and further details on how to add your music to AirIt.
Step 6
After your CD has been serviced, Amrap will provide you with a contact list for all stations that received your, CD enabling you to follow up with each.
Amrap surveys stations to check what's getting a reaction. Any feedback received specific to your release is forwarded to you in a feedback report one month after distribution.

Amrap applies an administrative fee of $55 for all clients, plus a charge of $1.65 per disc you have distributed inclusive of GST.
So for example the cost of distributing… 50 discs is $137.50 ($55 admin fee plus $1.65 x 50)
SUPPORT MATERIALS
Amrap can distribute support material (biographies/media releases etc) for no extra charge if they are:
If you have support materials that you provide that you would like Amrap to fold and insert in to each CD the cost will be $0.25 per CD. If you would like Amrap to print 1 page black and white support materials and fold and insert into each CD the cost will be $0.50 per CD. If you would like Amrap to print 1 page full colour support materials and fold and insert into each CD the cost will be $1.00 per CD(sent to stations on ).

- Printed on A4 paper, folded and enclosed within each CD cover OR,
- Printed on 12 x 12 cm sheet /card and slipped into each CD cover.
If you have support materials that you provide that you would like Amrap to fold and insert in to each CD the cost will be $0.25 per CD. If you would like Amrap to print 1 page black and white support materials and fold and insert into each CD the cost will be $0.50 per CD. If you would like Amrap to print 1 page full colour support materials and fold and insert into each CD the cost will be $1.00 per CD(sent to stations on ).
