AMRAP IS NO LONGER TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE NEWSROOM
NEWSROOM CONTENT MUST FOCUS EXCLUSIVELY OF AUSTRALIAN MUSIC ARTISTS - NOT INTERNATIONAL MUSIC ARTISTS.
Any broadcaster, producer, staff or volunteer from an Australian community radio station (“Community Radio Personnel”) is eligible to apply to produce Content for the Newsroom. Successful applicants will be known as ‘Music Correspondents’ (MCs).

What Types Of Content Will The Newsroom Commission?
The aim of the Newsroom is to create Content that a number of community stations will broadcast (not just one or two stations). MCs should pitch Content ideas that they believe will be:
- Of National significance and/OR,
- Of clear interest to a number of stations within a specific region (e.g. QLD, TAS, Stations in the desert etc) and/OR
- Of interest to a specific community of interest (e.g. classical music fans, music festival goers, touring musicians etc).
